7 Days 6 Nights BKK Trip - Day 1

I am Back !!! I am back for more blogging....this time round I am gonna update a day by day basic of my whole trip...It was a fulfilling trip and I can foresee more trips to come by in the near future...This Bangkok trip actually was planned 3 months back and to think we actually waited day by day....went through all the projects and exams and finally our BKK Trip!!!

A total of 11 of us went for this shopping spree trip and I can say everyday from Day to Night...walk non stop....buy non stop....was quite tired but at the end of the day see the things we bought....actually brightens up a little again...

It all started on 5th Dec 2007 in the wee hours of 5a.m.... met up at the budget terminal with 1 big luggage and off we go for the wonderful trip....Tiger Airlines is our official airplane for this trip and I would say....the space is really damnnn small...but still is cheap.....so No complaints!!! What can you expect $170 for a 7 days 6 nights airplane fares.....right? :P

1st day we went around have a light shopping trip as most of us are tired and wanna go back to our hotel for some early rest....Nevertheless This is not true for the Fishing Team..we had it all planned for this trip..Fishing equipments were brought to BKK and off we go for a hell fishing adventure....

2 Rods, 1 Hut, and 2 buckets full of baits were used for the night and guess what....Total cost per person is around 1600 Batt which is = around $60 SGD......I would say the last trip I went which was 4 years ago...compared to now...the price rise like crazy....Thought only Singapore living is sooo stress....Thailand living also went up eventually... Haizzzz

Our cosy hut consists of a TV....2 mattress and some chairs for us to sit around....would consider rather good coz we can rest throughout the night....but the most irritating thing was...there are thousands of mosquitoes flying around sucking our blood like is FREE!!!! It is really god damn irritating when we are fishing....but no choice...Getting the fish is more important....:)

After which we ordered Pineapple Fried rice.....salted Pork Fried rice...and is really damn delicious....really recommend for those people to eat if you guys are there......Have a Full dinner....now is time for some ACTION !!!!

After the whole night...is mainly all hooking up and releasing the Fish !!! Is really damn tired and shagged....I can assure you this type of fishing is definately more shagged then doing gym...haaa :P 1 average fish is about 20-50kg....and their strength is like endless......GF really scared of the fish at first....but later part she also get used to it and started to touch the fish and play with it haa...:P

Must really thank GF for accompany me for this fishing trip becoz i know she is quite reluctant to go at first...coz in her mind is all shopping and shopping non stop...:P But still I promised it will be a fruitfull fishing trip and she will remember for her rest of life...:) and yesh she did....coz 1 of the fish we caught is around 40++ Kg which already exceed her weight haaa....

Biggest Catch goes to this Mekong Catfish which weights around 40kg++ and I swear it is really the biggest fish we have caught so far in our life....and the fight was like endless.....took 20 mins to bring this monster up !!! CHEERS

Changi Boat Fishing

A sunny Sunday and a windless weather is my Fishing day..It was Robert who asked me along for this fishing trip...Ultimately I am not very interested at first for it because one trip can easily cost you 70 over dollars..but still due to temptations and hands itchy...I decided to take up the deal....It was like having to go back Changi in less then a few days :(

Fishing is never a cheap sports...instead I would rather rate a quite expensive sports because the preparation part is quite tedious...which I shall not say :P It was a 8am-6pm thingy and it was rather boring when the fishes are not biting....The sun is so hot that I am burnt at the end of the day...and right now I am peeling away :( Sad Sad Sad...Burnt and Chaota....Some people even thought I was a Malay...

Nevertheless the whole trip is still quite fruitfull...I shall not say much...Enjoy the photos.....:)

The whole action of Chermin Fishing taken by my Canon Ixus 40 :P These fishes rather comes as a group because we keep catching them....and they seems to be endless.....sadly to say ....They are in my stomach right now and it is just so tasty...:P

All the fishes caught and a rather fruitfull trip to the east.....etter luck next time :)

The Ubin Trip

It has been ages since I got myself on this island, Still can remember the fishing trip over there always brings good result. Think the last trip was half a year ago and everything now has changed so much...especially the pier...It has transformed into a big and organised pier unlike the olden days :) The decision to go is also because GF had never went before or perhaps it happened like 10 or 20 years ago haa....

It all began on a Friday morning....wake up early....move our butts to changi village.....buy this and there....then set off on the bum boat to ubin...although not that fantastic about this island..but still is our first trip over there...so was kinda excited....

The pier now even got those X-Ray belt and body detecting device like those whom we saw in the airport....abit extravagant !! but nevertheless this procedures have to go through....I would say the pier is now well organised and still those bum boat uncles seems to survive after so long of operation....Amazed !

The fishing lesson starts once again and GF had to cast several times in order to cast straight into the sea haa...previously was all cast all around the jetty !! Stress !! :P But as a newbie....I guess she did a good job after 2 times of casting...the 3rd time was perfect :) and the catch of the day she caught...please scroll down further....

The catch of the day was this giant Flower crab that was caught on line!! instead of those crab net....It was not so surprising to me as it occurred quite oftenly...but GF was so exciting and shouting around !! This is what I mean by fishing is FUN ! :)

Next was this small little crab that caught our attention...because his action was very fast and he is very fierce !!! Trying to bite us every bit he could....Nevertheless GF managed to overcome it and even catch it up....3 Cheers for her..!! Brave Gal !!!

Exploring around Ubin is a must and having to see those kampong like structure really is like watching those old TV serials...HAaa...Notice the signboard...Japanese and Korea words also have...Quite innovative ahhhh haaa :P

Of course Never to forget the Airjump that I have created....Now even GF also start to have her own style too!!! haaa...Not too bad ahh....MY aim is to achieve 75% up in the air haa,....I will practice hard !!! :)

This Nasty dog keep coming to our territory and beg for food...of couse our lasi lemak chicken wing bones all went to him....but he is still not satisfied enough...Quite irritating because GF is soooooo scared of him....and YESH he does "Steam" several times and his whole PXXXS went straight out and was quite gross because we were eating....Naughty DOggie !!
